Or is a pool ladder a really stupid thing to steal?

Our rental property is being prepared for new lessors, and it was discovered that the ladder to the above ground pool has been ripped from the pool and removed from the property. How weird is that?

*Apparently too weird to have actually happened...

In thinking about it, I realized that, when we closed the pool for the season, we removed the ladder. The cover won't fit otherwise...and we didn't want access to the pool to be too easy, either--for safety's sake. So I called the rental agent. She laughed. And she will check the shed and cancel the new ladder from the pool company.

Whew!
