Just got back...

...from visiting Jacque and family who are visiting in the next state. Jacque and her extended family are gathering at the family homestead for the holidays. She met us at a restaurant on the main highway when we passed by on the way north for Christmas. We spent about two hours together then, and decided to return on Wednesday for a longer visit. It was really nice to see her and husband Jimmy, twin girls Rauri and Rhiannon and baby Finnegan. Rauria and Rhiannon are just six weeks younger than Ryan, so they were sort of 'substitutes' for Tom and me when we were so far from our family when we lived in Europe. Tom spent lots of time then with a baby on his shoulder. He repeated that during this visit with Mr. Finn. Poor little guy didn't seem to be feeling well, but Tom had a way with him. I really enjoyed the visit and seeing everyone, including Jacque's parents. We met them in Europe when they came to visit. It was a good trip.
